Parking

There are 2 small pay and display car parks - one on Whitham Road, the other behind the shopping centre in Broomhill.  There is limited parking on the side roads.  Where this is available it is metered.  There is also a rooftop car park used by the Eurospar supermarket (please note there is a charge to use this car park).  If you need to park in the rooftop car park, follow the directions to the surgery.

Carry straight on through the pelican crossing.  Keep in the right hand lane at the traffic lights ahead of you at the junction.

Turn right at this junction.  Turn first left, then left again past the South Seas pub.  This is the Rooftop Car Park above Eurospar supermarket.

From the M1 (Junction 33)

  1. Take the Parkway (A630) into Sheffield (app 7 miles).

  2. Keep on the Parkway (A630) until you see the sign – A61 Barnsley.  Exit the Parkway (A630) at this point.  (It is a right turn at traffic lights towards the end of the Parkway where it becomes four lanes – it is part of the inner ring road.)

  3. After exiting the Parkway (A630) keep in the left lane.  You should pass Sheaf Quay and Ant Marketing on your left.

  4. Go straight ahead at the traffic lights (you should pass Wicker Mobility on the left).  Keep following the A61 Barnsley sign.

  5. Keep in the left hand lane until you see a sign for A61 Chesterfield and (A57) Glossop.  Take this exit to the left from the ring road.

  6. Go straight ahead keeping in the left lane of the dual carriageway.  You will go through a set of traffic lights.  (There should be a tram line on your right in the central part of the dual carriageway.)

  7. Go through the traffic lights up the hill to a roundabout (Brook Hill roundabout).  You need to be in the right hand lane as you approach the roundabout.

  8. At the roundabout you need to take the 3rd exit signed (A57) Glossop.

  9. Keep in the right hand lane to the traffic lights.  Go through the traffic lights.  You should pass Children’s Hospital on your left and Weston Park on your right.   Keep going straight ahead on this road.  You will also pass a Starbucks cafe on your left.   Further along you will pass Weston Park Hospital on your left.  (This is now Whitham Road)

  10. We are about half a mile up the road on the right hand side, just past a pub called the Nottingham House.  There is a sign on both sides of our premises – Broomhill Chiropractic Clinic.

By Train & Bus

  1. As you leave Sheffield Station, cross the road in front of you (pelican crossing).  Walk towards the bus station.  You need to get a No 40 bus to Fulwood – it should be the first platform you come to (D6).  Ask the driver to let you know when you get to Broomhill.  It will take about 15 minutes depending on traffic.
  1. You need to get off the bus two stops after the Hallamshire Hospital (which will be on your right).  The bus stop you need is outside a Lloyds TSB Bank (on the left side of the road).
  1. When you get off the bus, go up the road to the traffic lights (about 20 yards).  At the pelican crossing cross the road to the right, then immediately left.  Eurospar Supermarket should be ahead of you.
  1. Go past all the shops towards the set of traffic lights at the next junction (you should have passed Boots Chemist and Cream Coffee Shop on your left).
  1. Cross the road and go straight ahead walking down the path until you come to a bus stop outside the Bank of Scotland (you should pass an office supplies shop and a flower shop on your left).
  1. Cross the small road in front of you.  The building you need is next on the left (with a sign on the side – Broomhill Chiropractic Clinic).  These are the premises of Dr McKenzie’s surgery.
